Brief Media Profile

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”4851″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded”][vc_column_text]Dr Fouzia Saeed has been associated with the electronic media since 1977 when she was among the first woman television announcers on Pakistan Television, Peshawar. The television transmission was black and white and the programs went on air only for 6 – 7 hours daily.

After completing her studies in the USA, when she returned to Pakistan in 1987, she started her engagement with television again by hosting programs for PTV and later with other television channels.

She hosted four different television talk shows on social and cultural issues, Hum Qadam, Bholi hui hun dastan, New Horizons and Rishtay (about 50 programs in total). In addition she hosted a variety of live transmissions and special programs on various occasions.

She also appears regularly as a resource person on social issues as well as on current affairs programs on several channels.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
